i'm currently a counselor at an adolescent female group home. It's a very hands on job, we do almost everything with the girls, including sitting in the classrooms at the school. We work with juvenile probation cases as well as mental health and behavioral problems.The job is really rewarding when you begin to see positive changes in the girls from when they were first placed in the home.

I'm trying to start grad school in the spring in counseling psychology and hopefully will move back into Pittsburgh. My ultimate goal is to work at a psychiatric hospital or drug rehab facility with a concentration on adolescents.
