NURSE INTERN

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (These are minimum qualifications for employment in this position.)

1. Education: Actively enrolled in a state approved RN program and completion of first semester of required nursing sequence. Must maintain active status and progression in clinical nursing sequence.
2. Licensure: None
3. Experience: Successful completion of Nursing 1 in state approved RN program.
4. Skills: Must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function; satisfactorily demonstrate required competencies in the care of patients, including age-specific competencies; use effective verbal and written communication skills; BCLS
5. Physical Demands: See Physical Demands form.
6. Hours of Work: Any hours as required by the hospital
7. Other: Attend in-services; demonstrate knowledge of hospital polices and procedures
