Job Description:
Nursing InstructorsThe Division of Nursing at Central Ohio Technical College is seeking two full-time, 12-month Instructors for the Associate Degree Nursing Program
Job Requirements:
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's Degree in Nursing and Ohio RN license. Will consider candidates with a non-nursing master's degree, if the candidate has a BSN and commits to obtaining a master's in nursing within a mutually agreeable time frame. Will also consider candidates with a BSN and nearing completion of a master's program in nursing.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
A minimum of two years full-time working as a register nurse required; broad experience in medical surgical nursing required. Recent clinical experience required. Candidates must have broad base of clinical experience with significant work in a medical-surgical clinical environment; must have strong team-building and interpersonal skills and a willingness to implement a learner-centered approach to the teaching process; must be willing to use technology to facilitate student learning.
Preferred Requirements:
Additional experience in pediatric nursing is preferred; prior teaching experience is preferred.

Duties:
Classroom and clinical instruction in nursing program as well as collaboration in assuring program accreditation standards, student recruitment, education standards, and smooth operational management for the nursing programs.
