Job Description:

*Travel involved; mostly day hours with some evenings and/or weekends to be able to work with evening/weekend staff and outreach type of activites.Develops an effective, competent Dialysis staff by providing comprehensive orientation and education programs. Educates and mentors staff while creating an environment that engages staff in ongoing learning, increasing clinical competence, professional practice, and critical thinking skills through the use of research and evidence based practice. Serves as a resource to leadership and assists in evaluating dialysis staff performance. Prepares staff to serve patient of all ages. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with nursing expertise in Dialysis area. Minimum of two years experience teaching adults and with demonstration of competency in organizational, leadership, time management, informational technology, oral and written communication skills. Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota required.Basic Life Support (BLS) required. American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) membership required. Nephrology certification preferred. A valid Minnesota driver's license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage required.
