    Job Requirements:

    This position requires Twelve (12) months of recent Intensive Care or cardiac related experience. RN candidates require a minimum of one (1) year experience in a Cath lab. RN must also be able to demonstrates knowledge and skill to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served

     



    All Nursing candidates must also hold a current state Registered Nurse license; or be eligible for immediate state license. Nurse must also maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) Certification and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. Eligible RN candidates must also possess current CCRN (Certification for Adult, Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Nurses) with National Certification preferred.
     
     

    Job Responsibilities:

    The Cath Lab RN will be responsible/accountable for management of the patient and provision of care utilizing the nursing process, environment, instrumentation, and other health care team members.  This RN will also perform other related duties incidental to the work described within, while providing quality patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures and established patient care standards and practice. 

    The Intensive Care/Critical Care Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver who is responsible for designated patients for a specified time frame. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment and other health care resources to meet the specialized age-appropriate physical, emotional and spiritual needs of all ages of patient populations assigned. 

    Our OR RNs are responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  RNs are also responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. 

    The OR RN will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. OR RN candidates should have at least one year experience in order to be considered.
