Hidden in the center of this hospital, is a beautiful courtyard that provides a sanctuary for patients, families, and staff to help them escape the stresses of the healthcare experience.  

    UCH-Carrollwood offers comprehensive medical and surgical care, as well as a number of specialized services. It features one of the most advanced 24-hour emergency facilities in the area and is quickly becoming known as Tampa's premier center for orthopedic spine surgeries. Also available is a wide range of radiological procedures are available for diagnosis and treatment of injuries or illness. Offering diagnostic imaging from X-rays to ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, computerized axial tomography (CT) scans, MRI and special procedures. Advanced technology is available in the surgical service area for gynecologic, vascular surgery and joint replacement procedures. Comprehensive recovery facilities are also available including Intensive Care and Progressive Care units.

    Job Requirements:

    Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing with IV certification. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Florida or licensure from another state with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement.  2 yrs experience with emphasis in Orthopedics.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Implements exceptional patient care for assigned Medical/Surgical or Telemetry patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse in accordance with Division of Nursing standards. PRN - "As Needed".

    Shift Availability: 7A to 7P with weekend rot.
