UCH-Carrollwood offers comprehensive medical and surgical care, as well as a number of specialized services. It features one of the most advanced 24-hour emergency facilities in the area and is quickly becoming known as Tampa's premier center for orthopedic spine surgeries. Also available is a wide range of radiological procedures are available for diagnosis and treatment of injuries or illness. Offering diagnostic imaging from X-rays to ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine, computerized axial tomography (CT) scans, MRI and special procedures. Advanced technology is available in the surgical service area for gynecologic, vascular surgery and joint replacement procedures. Comprehensive recovery facilities are also available including Intensive Care and Progressive Care units.
High School graduate or equivalent is required. Graduate from an AMA approved School, ARRT registered, or registry eligible (for new graduates). Board certified by State of Florida, Department of Health & Rehabilitative Services, Division of Office of Radiation Control (Florida Statue 468).ol of Radiologic Technology.
Radiologic technologists provides exceptional customer service while performing radiographic examinations that create images for accurate diagnosis. Radiography integrates scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and useful diagnostic information. Radiographers must maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. Radiologic technologists prepare for and assist the radiologist in the completion of intricate radiographic examinations.
Shift Availability: Variable with weekend rot.
