Job Summary:
Occupational Therapy Assistant performs occupational therapy procedures as assigned by the supervising Registered Occupational Therapist. The goal of occupational therapy is to teach people how to perform day to day functions. They document the progress of the plan and make adjustments if necessary.    Occupational therapist assistants document treatment for billing purposes.  Therapist assistants need to be strong, as they may have to lift patients.   
Must be a graduate of an accredited school for occupational therapy assistant, certified by the American Occupational Therapy Association. 
Minimum of two years satisfactory experience required. 
Must have current CA COTA license.
