CCS is currently looking for a full-time Dentist at the Norfolk City Jail.

Reports to assigned facility at designated hour to examine, supervise and provide dental care/treatment to referred patients.  Evaluates dental health program and dental servicesprovided.  Evaluates patient dental care required or administred, dental operatory conditions, and equipment in use.  Functions as a consultant to the prison staff health care provider, if needed.  Completes an initial dental screening on all new commitments with 30 days and completes annual examinations on all patients.

Job Requirements:

Must have and maintain current licensure as a Dentist within the State and graduated from an accredited school of dental medicine. One year of experience in general dentistry preferred and Must obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification and maintain privileges.
