The Area Agency on Aging is committed to helping older adults in Allegheny County live healthy, happy and independent lives.  As an Aging Care Manager, you can become a part of the professional team that can make that happen. 

Aging Care Managers provide social work services in a community setting.  The demand for geriatric social workers will increase in the next decade.  To meet this immediate and future demand for qualified employees, the Area Agency on Aging is currently offering positions as Aging Care Manager 1 (job code L0647) or Aging Care Manager 2 (job code L0634). 

As an Aging Care Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your professional experience and know-how to positively impact the lives of older adults living in Allegheny County.  Minimum requirements include, but are not limited to a Bachelors Degree in sociology, social work/social welfare, psychology, gerontology or other behavioral sciences.

Successful candidates will direct care and services from offices in and around Allegheny County.
