Surgery Lead/Registered Nurse
Nebraska Heart Institute is looking to fill an opening for a Surgery Lead/Registered Nurse in Lincoln, NE! Work alongside the region's premier cardiology practice, the Nebraska Heart Institute; or, Nebraska's state-of-the-art cardiac care facility, the Nebraska Heart Hospital. Both working together, in partnership, to provide the best care in the region.

Job Requirements:
Licensed Registered Nurse with three (3) years experience in the Operating Room required. One to two years leadership experience preferred. ACLS and BLS certification may be required after employment commences.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for direct patient care; ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes. Assists Surgery Team Leader with day to day operations of the Surgery Department throughout Nebraska Heart including; staff management, physician interaction, recruitment, scheduling, cross-functional training and staff education. Gives input to department fiscal management and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations as they relate to the Surgery Department, including policy and procedure development and implementation.
