Inpatient Nursing Co-Team Leader
Nebraska Heart Institute is looking to fill an opening for an Inpatient Nursing Co-Team Leader in Lincoln, NE! Work alongside the region's premier cardiology practice, the Nebraska Heart Institute; or, Nebraska's state-of-the-art cardiac care facility, the Nebraska Heart Hospital. Both working together, in partnership, to provide the best care in the region.

Positions include nursing, nuclear medicine, imaging, surgery, respiratory therapy, laboratory, case management, pharmacy, patient accounting, materials management, health information management, housekeeping, dietary, and more.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred, plus two to three years critical care experience required. Current RN licensure, BLS certification required. At least one year previous supervisory experience required.
Assist the CNO and Co-Team Leader in supervision of day to day operations for inpatient nursing department including interviewing and hiring prospective employees; staff management; scheduling; training; and performing corrective action according to NHH policy. Works closely with CNO, Co-Team Leader and Nursing Education Coordinator to identify education and training needs for new and existing employees; assists in writing and reviewing policies and procedures for inpatient nursing; and serves as an Inpatient Nursing liaison for various committees throughout the organization. Provides direct patient care ensuring patient satisfaction and high quality clinical outcomes.
