    No weekends or rotating schedules. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, day-shift position. Dialysis, critical care or ambulatory surgical unit experience preferred for an outpatient procedure clinic. Lifeline Vascular Access works with premier physician practices to develop and manage outpatient centers that provide focused and coordinated vascular access procedures to patients receiving hemodialysis treatment for end-stage renal disease (ESRD). We currently manage more than 50 physician-owned vascular access centers where we provide physician practices with financial and outcomes reporting, staffing and training, facility operations, insurance billing services, and regulatory compliance. The Lifeline network of managed vascular access centers is accredited by the Joint Commission. We invite you to contact us in regard to a position as an Access Center Manager at the Foothill Dialysis Access Center located at 536 East Foothill Boulevard in Upland, California 91786. As an Access Center Manager, you will be responsible to ensure that interventional procedures are provided by our center staff with efficiency while maintaining high quality outcomes. Additional responsibilities will include oversight of patient records, billing, budget data, inventory, and insuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies. You will also be responsible for the hiring, training and evaluation of center staff, and participate in operational meetings. As a member of our team, you will interact with patients, physicians and dialysis facilities as part of our community educational program, and also participate in other educational outreach initiatives. As a registered nurse with responsibility for managing center operations, your clinical role will include providing high quality nursing care to patients undergoing vascular access procedures under conscious sedation. In this role, you will gather pretreatment patient data, monitor patient and medications during procedures, maintain prescription drug logs, and provide assistance to the vascular access team during pre- and post-procedure activity. Additional responsibilities will include maintaining a cooperative working relationship with patients, their family members, medical staff, and laboratory personnel. As a radiologic technologist with responsibility for managing center operations, your clinical role will include operating a C-Arm, scrubbing in for interventional procedures, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies. ResponsibilitiesSupport interventionist and clinical team to deliver high-quality vascular access care and outcomes Perform clinical duties as a registered nurse or radiologic technologist depending on licenses or certifications Manage center budget and inventory relative to patient volume; implement policies and procedures as established by Vascular Access Centers management Work with reimbursement department to facilitate billing of access center services Ensure patient scheduling is coordinated as determined by central administration Review patient records for accuracy and updates Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations including but not limited to radiology, safety/OSHA, JCAHO Communicate with dialysis facilities in the community on a monthly basis to monitor outcomes and to schedule community educational outreach activities Provide leadership and work direction to direct reports to ensure quality of work Manage all teammate employment activity such as hiring, promoting, job performance, evaluations, teammate relations and disciplinary actions with appropriate approvals as required Address teammate relations issues appropriately and escalate as necessary Understand basic wage and hour laws, federal, state and local laws and regulations, Medicare, and legislation affecting employment Develop and conduct educational programs to keep teammates up-to-date on DaVita policies, new laws and regulations impacting work, and other information necessary to maintain teammates' knowledge of department processes and goals Maintain and communicate facility emergency management programs and ability to act swiftly, confidently in an emergency Know, understand, follow, and implement DaVita safety and security policies and procedures Know, understand, and comply with all Lifeline clinical and business policies and procedures
