Job Description:

The ROPS (Revenue Accounting Operations) Senior SOX Compliance Analyst shall have the skills and aptitude to successfully perform detailed analysis of claims accounting transactions and perform tests of internal control activities to ensure compliance with ROPS policies and documented Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Skills: • Strong understanding of key processes required to successfully bill and collect healthcare claims for all payor groups.• Strong organizational skills.• Excellent problem solving abilities. • Understanding of ROPS patient accounting systems is valued.• Sarbanes-Oxley testing experience and internal control assessment experience is highly valued. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed analysis of claims accounting transactions to ensure compliance with ROPS policies and documented SOX requirements.• Test and effectively document completion of revenue cycle SOX control activities to meet pre-defined internal and external reporting requirements.• Facilitate hands-on training of teammates based on monthly QA findings.• Manage required remediation activities to successful completion.• Facilitate hands-on follow-up activities with teammates based on monthly QA findings.• Support SOX documentation projects as required.• Supervise QA Analysts to support SOX testing results and/or new teammate performance evaluations as may be required.
