    Job Description:

    This position supervises the daily operations of the Brentwood-based Credits Team, directing credit efforts by overseeing, training, and providing guidance to the Credits Team to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Position has full supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance development, performance management, salary adjustments, and termination of direct reports. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESUtilize available resources to research and develop action plans for payor projects, performance issues, new policy implementations and other projects as assigned by Manager Maintain above average knowledge of all applicable department/company policies and processes; maintain above average knowledge of all applicable billing and A/R-related systems Assist in the completion of accurate and timely quarterly CMS- 838 reports Assist in all aspects of compliance reporting and the completion of the annual OIG report Collaborate with other ROPS teams, Contracting and Legal Team as necessary to resolve payer and contracting issues Complete all duties and projects assigned by Manager in a timely and accurate manner Teammate ManagementAssist Manager in development and monitoring of team goals, such as A/R indicators, Q/A results and teammate performance goals Review and provide detailed analysis of team performance and other metrics; review and provide detailed analysis of credit balances and A/R indicators Monitor teammates' work output, such as adjustment requests and refund check requests Ensure team is meeting all regulatory and compliance requirements, including Corporate Integrity Agreement, HIPPA, SOX, Medicare and internal guidelines Look for opportunities to enhance team performance and exemplify Continuous Improvement Provide leadership to direct reports Help direct reports overcome any organizational obstacles encountered during projects Know, understand, implement, follow, and communicate to teammates all DaVita employment policies and procedures, awards, and other opportunities within company and foster a positive work environment Ensure all DaVita employment processes are completed timely and in compliance with DaVita policy and any applicable laws including but not limited to ePCNs, Performance Development Reviews, teammate personnel file maintained, etc. Facilitate teammate development (PDRs, coaching, mentoring, DaVita training, outside training); collaborate with direct reports to create professional development goals Provide work direction for department teammates Determine staffing plans that promote the most effective use of all teammates; ensure coverage during teammate absences Understand basic wage and hour laws, federal, state and local laws and regulations, Medicare, and legislation affecting employment Review and approve time cards of direct reports for bi-weekly payroll Track overtime, attendance, and PTO Develop and conduct educational programs to keep teammates up-to-date on DaVita policies, new laws and regulations impacting work, and other information necessary to maintain teammates' knowledge of department processes and goals
