Job Description:

The purpose of this position is to manage and direct accounting staff providing center level accounting support. This includes accounting for development projects, fixed assets, inventory, medical director fees, utilities, leases, subleases, revenue analysis, and preparing financial reports for field operations management and joint venture partners to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage and direct accounting staff responsible for center accounting support in revenue analysis, development projects, fixed assets, inventory, medical director fees, leases and subleases. Manage and direct accounting staff responsible for general ledger (GL) functions such as journal entry preparation, account analysis and account reconciliation. Manage and direct accounting staff responsible for field operations financial reporting and partnership accounting and reporting. Manage and direct cross-functional teams chartered to improve processes related to revenue accounting functions and responsibilities. Responsible for process management and documentation of internal controls, including assessment of design and operating effectiveness, and liaison with external auditors with respect to assigned functional area. l Primary responsibility for selection, hiring, evaluation, training and development of supervisors and teammates in the revenue and revenue analytics team. Other duties as assigned.
