    Be part of a Cardiovascular program that is ranked as one of the nation's "100 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals" by Thomson Reuters. Our active mobile outreach program consists of 10 sites. The ECG Coordinator supervises all activities of staff performing cardiovascular ultrasound and EKG related studies (includes 13 Echo techs and 8 ECG techs). Patients of all ages served. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Performs cardiovascular ultrasound procedures to augment staff as needed. Ensure the efficient use of time in the conductance of daily laboratory operation to include procedure performance, exam processing, ultrasound equipment cleaning/maintenance and mobile (outreach) van cleaning/maintenance documentation. Oversees QA/QC, development and implementation of department technical policy and procedural updates, technical staff education, technical staff and outreach schedules and equipment maintenance logs. Enhances communication between leadership and staff providing ongoing feedback on system priorities, hospital-wide/department goals and objectives. Demonstrates follow through and effective problem-solving activities with staff, customers, physicians, and other departments. Assures competency of personnel through assessment of competency and provision of training and education. Helps staff develop individual plans to meet career goals through education, mentoring, and other self-growth opportunities. Ability to perform pediatric studies and experience with digital storage systems preferred.High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate from CAAHEP approved echo program and/or successfully completed national echocardiography registry (e.g. American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International) required. Bachelor's Degree preferredAbility to perform echo procedures is required. Excellent communication skills are essential.Computer literacy (Microsoft Office applications) Two years of management/lead technologist experience in comparable size laboratory required. BCLS required.Registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiology Sonographer and Registry in vascular ultrasound is required. Transportation available for off campus activities may be required. A valid Minnesota driver's license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required.
