Optometrist
Clear, crisp vision is important not only to our pilots and technicians staffing satellite controls, but also to all members of the U.S. Air Force family. Air Force Optometrists maintain the health and welfare of active-duty and retired service members and their families. You’ll be challenged with using the broadest scope of your privileges to ensure proper vision correction with glasses or contact lenses, as well as diagnosing, treating and managing ocular disease and providing surgical co-management. Additionally, Air Force Optometrists have the opportunity to pursue physiological optics research, further supporting the Air Force air and space mission.

This is an active-duty position as an Air Force officer. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
