Job Requirements

Job DescriptionPerforms various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.  Bathes, dresses and undresses patients, and assists with personal hygiene.  May serve and collect food trays, and provide between-meal nourishment.  Transports and drapes patients for examinations and treatments.  Takes and records temperatures, pulse, etc., as directed.  Changes bed linen and runs errands.  May clean, sterilize, store and prepare treatment trays and other supplies.  Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties.
