Job Description:
The programmer analyst, as a member of the technical integration and reporting team, is responsible for technical development, select integration projects, support of the Caritas Christi interface engine, collaboration with team members, and to ensure documentation is complete.  Responsibilities include:  Interact with all level of users throughout the organization to clarify and verify requirements at all stages of analysis, design, and implementation.  He/she will be responsible for analytical work as needed to support the objectives of our user community and the information services department.    He/she will be responsible for the establishment of procedures and methodologies to ensure that software and reports are accurate and efficient.  The focus of this position will be upgrading our legacy eGate environment to Java Caps (JCaps).  

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.  Three to five years of related work experience.  Experience in health care is preferred.  Must have experience with HL7, Java/J2EE, or Sun Microsystem's Java Caps and eGate 5.05.  Experience in an equivalent technology in a healthcare setting also considered.  Ability to prioritize and simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects.  Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
