Job Description:
Keeps Client Server database clean by working closely with others. Collects and verifies information necessary for file maintenance by working closely with AP and Materials contacts at the sites, vendors, Group Purchasing Organization and others prior to entering information in the system. Recognizes and resolves data discrepancies. Builds all shared dictionaries including but not limited to; item, vendor, manufacturer, contract, category, EOC.
Follows established rules in the creation and maintenance of shared dictionaries. Instructs those sending data not in accordance with the rules. Brings unresolved issues to the attention of the Information Systems Coordinator.
Creates reports and spreadsheets as requested. Compiles facility information into reports that roll up to the system level. Creates spreadsheets as requested and analyzes the data for presentation.
Supports Meditech Client Server Purchasing Software System & Promotes Utilization of IT
Participates in Meditech training, reviews professional publications, establishes personal and professional networks, develops and presents workshops and materials to Caritas managers & staff as needed.
One to three years experience in healthcare product sector. Computer literate, Meditech Client Server experience a plus. Must be detail oriented, organized, posses good communication and prioritization skills, and be customer service oriented. Requires the ability to work independently and in collaboration with others. Must be proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills.
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; must possess excellent writing, interpersonal communication and judgment skills; also requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Must be a results oriented problem solver.
