Job Description:
Provides comprehensive ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum, and well-woman gynecological care to women in the reproductive age group.  Assumes the plan of care management responsibilities for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes for obstetrical and gynecological patients selected according to the approved nurse-midwifery policies, procedures, and guidelines.  Works collaboratively with the attending Seton Ob/Gyn Associate physician. Evaluates the individual health care status of patients through completion of a detailed history, physical exam, and laboratory tests as appropriate. Formulates a management plan for each patient and revises the plan when indicated.
 Qualifications:Graduate from an accredited educational program in nursing and a nurse-midwifery program accredited by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Clinical nurse-midwifery experience preferred. Previous nursing experience in obstetrics preferred. Current license to practice as a registered nurse and as a nurse-midwife in the expanded role in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. National certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives.  Caritas Physician Network is an equal opportunity employer.
