Job Description:

Caritas-St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center is a nationally renowned, 343-bed teaching hospital affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine.  CSEMC is one of the fastest-growing medical centers in Massachusetts and the flagship for New England’s second largest healthcare system.  We are seeking individuals skilled in the art and science of clinical nutrition management who would like to become a valued member of our team.

 

Under the direction of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services, responsibilities for this position include the management of human, quality and fiscal resources for the clinical section of the department.  The CNM will provide strong leadership and foster the development of both the clinical dietitian and diet office staff.  Responsible for coordinating and managing the nutritional care of both inpatients and outpatients, the CNM will insure service excellence and quality care.  Successful candidates will have a track record of establishing and maintaining strong interdisciplinary relationships as well as a sound foundational knowledge of clinical nutrition, including enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy. 

 Qualifications:

Registered Dietitian (mandatory); Master’s degree (mandatory); Commonwealth of Massachusetts License (optional); Board Certification(s) (preferred, especially CNSC); Management or supervision of acute (mandatory) and long-term (preferred) care. Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to effectively manage change (mandatory).
