At the hub of the system's six-hospital network is Caritas St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston, a tertiary academic teaching hospital affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine. The other acute care hospitals in Massachusetts are Caritas Carney Hospital, Dorchester; Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton; Caritas Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center, Methuen; Caritas Norwood Hospital, Norwood; and Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River.

Job Description:
Receive incoming mail, answer routine correspondence. Maintain daily calendars and schedule appointments. Type letters, reports and other related items as required. Maintain or assist in maintaining files and records. Answer calls, take messages and pass on to Medical Assistant or doctor when necessary,greet patients, collect co-payment and verify name/address/insurance. Collect incoming mail, open, sort and pass along to appropriate person, file all correspondence, lab work, etc.  For new patients, create charts and have them complete all necessary patient information forms. Pull charts for messages and referrals, maintain office supplies, maintain patient confidentiality and perform related work as required.

Qualifications:
Must have excellent secretarial skills, word processing, MS-Office (Word & Excel). Excellent communications skills. Experience handling multiple phone lines. Medical Terminology preferred.
