About the Opportunity

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated health care professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care.  Our facilities have a prominent reputation in the community for providing excellent rehabilitative services. Diagnostic testing including Audiometry, Tympanometry, ENG/VNG's, Hearing Aids and OAE's. Previous experience with ENG testing is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Gathers data related to the patient's communication disorder.
  • Selects appropriate evaluation tools for the purpose of assessment and administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of the patient's impairment and the prognosis for improvement.
  • Formulates individualized treatment modalities for patients diagnosed as needing aural rehabilitation.
  • Selects and fits suitable hearing aid(s) for the patient when indicated.
  • Communicates observations and prepares written documentation as required in the policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed by the State of Florida as an Audiologist
  • Knowledge of Business Aspects of a Hearing Center Preferred.
  • Knowledge of Vestibular Assessment is Strongly Preferred.
