Hey just grabbed up another article from the Tribune today.

It was an article about several studies conducted by Peter Buerhuas, workforce analyst and Vanderbilt University professor, on the nursing shortage.

 According to his latest data, the nursing shortage could spike to 500,000 by 2025.

"Low nurse staffing affects the quality of care. There is a clear impact on patients: more infections, falls, cardiac arrests and medication errors," he says.

 Just thought that was some seriously interesting (not to mention alittle scary) information.
