Occupational Therapy Jobs

Occupational therapists perform a wide variety of rehabilitation including mental, physical and speech. Treatment programs are catered to the injury or illness of the patient. Occupational therapists must be very patient and meticulous in treating patients, since some patients have trouble doing seemingly simple tasks such as speaking, walking or eating. The minimum education required to be an occupational therapist is a master's degree. A national certification exam must be completed as well.

The job growth for occupational therapy jobs is expected to rise much faster than the national average until 2016 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS.)
