Medical Assistant Jobs

Medical assistants perform a wide variety of clerical and administrative tasks, usually in a doctor's office. The duties of a medical assistant vary greatly by location and include: maintenance of patient records, filling out insurance forms, receptionist duties and preparing patients for an exam. Training requirements vary by employer, based on job requirements. Most employers prefer at least a 2-year degree and some previous work experience.
